“Even though I did the online program, it never felt as if I was
one among many. At GCU, I never felt like I was alone.”
Keziah Tinkle-Williams
GCU Alum
“GCU was always clear about costs. I received scholarships and
grants, giving me as much financial opportunity as possible. When
people say they’re thinking of going to college, I always tell
them about GCU.”
Sarah Gallé
GCU Alum
“Having the remote, online ability to organize your schedule
around your day is great. You don’t have to worry about being in
the classroom on certain nights between certain hours.”
Tyrone Nance
GCU Alum
“I looked at about 20 universities and GCU fit within my budget
and my time-frame — I could start right away. Those were the two
main factors for me, and because it was offered as an online
degree, it worked out perfectly.”
Tamara Grace
GCU Alum
“Being at GCU made sense so much financially for my family.
Affordability was a large reason I chose GCU. Other Christian
schools were too much money for my family. GCU made more sense.”
Chris Jennings
GCU Alum
“I’ve been able to be successful in my job and get to where I am
today because of my professors and the GCU community.”
Becca Wayne

This does not include students in Bridge Programs, High School Dual Enrollment, Non-Degree Studies or Continuing Education. Alumni counts are unique by academic level (baccalaureate, graduate or doctorate). 3 The earnings referenced were reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Computer and Information Research Scientists as of May 2023, retrieved on August 20, 2024. Due to COVID-19, data from 2020 to 2023 may be atypical compared to prior years. BLS calculates the median using salaries of workers nationwide with varying levels of education and experience. It does not reflect the earnings of GCU graduates as Computer and Information Research Scientists, nor does it reflect the earnings of workers in one city or region of the country or a typical entry-level salary. Median income is the statistical midpoint for the range of salaries in a specific occupation. It represents what you would earn if you were paid more money than half the workers in an occupation, and less than half the workers in an occupation. It may give you a basis to estimate what you might earn at some point if you enter this career. Grand Canyon University can make no guarantees on individual graduates’ salaries. Your employability will be determined by numerous factors over which GCU has no control, such as the employer the graduate chooses to apply to, the graduate’s experience level, individual characteristics, skills, etc. against a pool of candidates.
$145,080
Median annual wage for computer and information research scientists in May 20233
