The Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity offers several optional concentrations:

CISSP Certification Preparation
Prepare to take the rigorous ISC(2) Certified Information Systems Security Professional exam, one of the most highly regarded certifications in the world. Passing the CISSP exam demonstrates you have the knowledge and experience to design, develop, and manage the security infrastructure of an organization.

Cloud Computing
Explore the world of cloud computing and learn the intricacies of AWS and Azure. Learn to effectively migrate applications and computing systems to the cloud. Apply specialized techniques to maximize efficiency for an organization and ensure data security.

Data Management
Study SQL Server, Hive, HBase, and MySQL to help you manage data. Learn how to use these tools to manage, manipulate, and analyze both small and large amounts of data, as well as ways to report results for informed decision-making.

Game Development
Implement challenges and scenarios to create gamified experiences for recreational or business-related training resources. Game design features include storylines, role-play mechanics, and character profiles for a new game or interactive experience.

Programming and Analytics
Learn the basics of Python, Java, and R to analyze data. Then compare those languages to Java or C# or Web Languages (JavaScript and HTML/CSS), which are more often used in software development. Additionally, you will learn the fundamentals of securing data and report the results of your analysis of data using tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Software Development Using C#
Focus on the C# programming language in software design and development, including web and mobile applications. C# is an object-oriented, component-oriented programming language.

Software Development Using Java
Use the Java programming language to design, develop and write programs across devices. Java remains the most popular language for application software development.

Software Development Using Python
Explore software development concepts using the Python programming language while applying related approaches to data structures, algorithms, web services, graphics, mobile, and multimedia. Python is a versatile language known for its beginner friendliness, making it widely used.

Software Development Using Web Languages
Study advanced software design and development concepts using JavaScript and PHP. JavaScript is a client-side scripting language while PHP is a server-side scripting language.

Supply Chain Management and Logistics
Prepare for the planning and management activities involved in sourcing, conversion, and logistics management. Learn to apply qualitative and quantitative methodologies used in global supply chain management. Purdue Global is a member of the SAP University Alliances program.

ExcelTrack®:  ExcelTrack® is designed to advance your progress based on existing knowledge; however, degree pace and time and cost savings will vary by individual. No credits are earned if the student withdraws during the introductory period (3 weeks for new qualifying undergraduate students), which begins day one of the first term. Experiential Learning Savings: In 2021–2022, incoming Purdue Global students who passed EL206 and submitted a portfolio for evaluation earned an average of 33 quarter credit hours toward their Purdue Global undergraduate degrees. Tuition savings calculated as 33 quarter credit hours x standard tuition rate of $371.00 = $12,243.00 - $1,500.00 course fee = $10,743.00.
