In-State Tuition Rates

All active-duty U.S. military members stationed outside of Florida are eligible to have their non-resident tuition and fees waived. Additionally, all active-duty U.S. military members stationed in Florida, as well as their spouses and dependents (who reside with the service member or use VA Education Benefits), are eligible for temporary residency for the purposes of in-state tuition.

VetSuccess on Campus

The VetSuccess on Campus program is a collaborative effort with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The VA has placed a full-time, experienced vocational rehabilitation counselor on campus to help you, your spouse and your dependents discover and use all VA benefits. Examples include medical care, home loans, counseling and resume development.

Veterans Mentoring Program

Developed by and for veterans to assist all military-affiliated students on their academic journey, a full-time Mentor Coordinator will assist military-affiliated students attending UWF. The MeCo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who can offer guidance, connect you to valuable resources and monitor GPAs for signs of academic distress to provide support so that you can maintain your eligibility for benefits. The MeCo offers assistance in these and other areas:
